Annulment
Annulment is the process of voiding a marriage.
There are a number of different circumstances that can cause a marriage to qualify for annulment.
Examples:
- One of the spouses was already married at the time of marriage
- One of the spouses was too young to get married
- One of the spouses may have been mentally incompetent at the time of the marriage
- If the marriage was based upon fraud or force
- One of the parties concealed they had an addiction to drugs or a sexually transmitted disease
